Montréal Victoire forward Marie-Philip Poulin, New York Sirens goaltender Corinne Schroeder, and Boston Fleet defender Sidney Morin have been named the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) ‘3 Stars of the Week’ following standout performances during games played from January 6 to January 12.
First Star – Marie-Philip Poulin (F), Montréal Victoire

The Montréal Victoire captain delivered a stellar performance on the PWHL Takeover Tour™, earning her the top spot among the league’s stars this week. Poulin notched three points over two games as Montréal split a pair of 4-2 contests in the Pacific Northwest.
- Game Highlights:
- On Wednesday, Poulin scored twice, including the game-winner, leading the Victoire to a 4-2 triumph over the Toronto Sceptres in front of a sold-out crowd of 19,038 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.
- On Sunday, she added a power-play assist in a hard-fought matchup against Denver, where the Victoire played before a record-setting U.S. professional women’s hockey crowd of 14,018 at Ball Arena.
With 6 points in 9 games (4 goals, 2 assists), Poulin leads the Victoire in scoring. The Takeover Tour also drew massive audiences, with 45,664 fans attending the first three games.
Second Star – Corinne Schroeder (G), New York Sirens

New York Sirens goaltender Corinne Schroeder continued her dominance between the pipes, becoming the first PWHL goalie to post consecutive regular-season shutouts.
- Game Highlights:
- Schroeder stopped all 28 shots she faced in a 1-0 overtime victory against the Toronto Sceptres on Sunday at the Prudential Center.
- Earlier in the week, she recorded a 26-save shutout in a commanding 5-0 win over the Minnesota Frost on January 4.
Schroeder’s shutout streak now stands at an impressive 156 minutes and 44 seconds, as she has stopped 64 consecutive shots. Her stellar play has propelled the Sirens into a tie for third place in the league standings. Schroeder’s 1.86 goals-against average and .935 save percentage lead the league, and she is tied for the most wins with five.
Third Star – Sidney Morin (D), Boston Fleet

Defender Sidney Morin capped off a strong week with an unforgettable overtime winner in Ottawa, securing the Boston Fleet’s victory and breaking her season-long scoring drought.
- Game Highlights:
- On Saturday, Morin fired a 35-foot wrist shot past Ottawa’s Gwyneth Philips in overtime, lifting the Fleet to a 2-1 victory.
- Earlier in the game, she scored her first goal of the season with a three-foot sweep into the net after outmaneuvering the opposing defender.
Morin’s two-goal performance matched her total from the previous season, and she’s now just one point shy of tying her career-high. The Fleet’s split week leaves them well-positioned for a strong push when their season resumes on January 22.
